SOviet Summer Camp
Two hours south of Moscow off a small path off a main road lies this former Soviet Summer Camp, tucked in the woods now mostly frequented by people fly tipping.
The Summer Camp was originally opened for the children of workers of a local hat factory that was the predominant maker of hats for the Soviet military.
The site is very quiet and a nice wander, there are quite a few buildings left including the library and the main hall, scattered about are the remnants of the sites history, hats, gas masks in all sizes and lots of interesting documentation.
