The Black Palace
About 10 km before Bokor Hill Station there is the Black Palace, so named because of the polished black Italian marble floors throughout the complex.
It was a little summer palace of King Sihanouk and comprised of a sentry gate, a small "palace" with several bedrooms and a sitting area with great views over the mountain side and down into the hills below. There are 2 further buildings on the site a huge dining hall with kitchen attached and the concubine house!
